Update to ongoing operations at Rumsey Aquatic Center
The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and Department of General Services (DGS) are moving forward with plans to replace the boiler at the Rumsey Aquatic Center. While the facility is slated for a larger modernization project, the existing boiler has reached the end of its useful life and must be replaced to sustain operations until construction begins.
Work will begin this October with an estimated completion in November, and the pool will remain open throughout the replacement. Some classes and permitted activities may be adjusted during this time. For questions, please contact [email protected].
Thank you for your patience and support as we continue improving the Rumsey Aquatic Center.
