INCIDENT: PC417.6(A)- Brandishing a Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: 10000 Block of Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT(S): Jamaal Reader, Age 46, Resident of Rancho Cucamonga
VICTIM(S): Confidential Male Adult
SUMMARY: On Saturday, September 13, 2025, at approximately 11:08 p.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station responded to a call for service reference a male subject brandishing a knife at a person at the location.
Deputies arrived on scene within minutes and located a subject matching the description of the suspect. Deputies detained the suspect, later identified as Jamaal Reader. During the detainment, deputies located the weapon that was used during the crime.
Reader was arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center for PC417.6(A)- Brandishing a Deadly Weapon.
