Couple Charged with Felony Child Abuse
Detective Billie Brown with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Marion residents Dominic Edward Gregory, 33, and Chelsea McMahan, 31, with Felony Negligent Child Abuse – Serious Physical Injury.
Both received secured bonds of $100,000 each.
On August 29, Deputy Ryan Washburn executed a welfare check at a residence in Marion for possible child neglect of an infant. After the complaint was received, further investigation prompted the arrests.
