1. Robbery (1500) 3700 Block of East Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
The female victim, 46, was in the parking lot of the location when the suspect approached. The suspect forcefully stole the victim’s property before fleeing on foot. The victim declined medical. SUSPECT: Black male juvenile.
2. Robbery (1517) 2000 Block of East Weber Avenue, Park District
The male victims, 23 and 22, were in the area when three suspects approached. The suspects assaulted one victim and stole property from both before fleeing in a vehicle. Responding officers arrested one of the suspects who was still in the vehicle. The victim's property was located and returned. ARRESTED: Markel Moore, 18, for robbery and assault; two Black male adults are outstanding.
3. Resisting Arrest (1831) 200 Block of East Cleveland Street, Civic District
Officers responded to the report of a fight. Officers attempted to detain one of those involved in the altercation, but the suspect pulled away and was taken to the ground. ARRESTED: Joseph Prieto, 26, for resisting arrest, battery, and being under the influence.
4. Robbery (2150) 1200 Block of East March Lane, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 27, was working at a business in the area when two suspects entered and brandished firearms. The suspects robbed the business and fled on foot. SUSPECTS: Two Asian males.
5. Persons Stabbed (0230) 1400 Block of West Euclid Avenue, Civic District
The male victims, both 26, were inside the residence when they saw an unknown suspect inside. The victims attempted to stop the suspect from fleeing, and he stabbed the victims. The suspect fled, and the victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at an area hospital. Officers located the suspect and took him into custody. ARRESTED: Jordan Chavez, 34, for assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, theft, and possession of stolen property.
