Due to a gas leak in the area of Belmont Avenue and John Ryle Avenue, members of the public, including motorists, are advised to avoid the area. Please use alternate routes. Haledon Fire, Haledon Police, and PSEG personnel are currently on the scene and actively managing the situation.

As of now, utility work is underway, and the situation is under control according to PSEG.
