Full Notification

In response to the NH Division of Forests & Lands request to suspend issuing any permits for outdoor burning the Town of Bedford will not issue any permits until such time as the regional drought conditions improve. 

Further all current seasonal permits are suspended until further notice.

While this does not impact cooking grills or propane fired stoves/firepits, extreme caution should be used with any open flame or heat generating device in proximity to any natural vegetation.
