Deputies responded to the 1200 block of Harper Avenue in the city of West Hollywood regarding burglary call.
Deputy personnel contacted the victim who informed them the residence was burglarized, and his pet dog was deceased. The victim reviewed and showed deputies video surveillance from inside the residence.
The video showed the suspect enter the residence without permission. Upon entering the residence, Bhatia abused the victim’s dog until it became unresponsive. The dog was found deceased by the victim and the responding deputies.

The investigation is ongoing.
