INCIDENT: P.C. 664/187- Attempted Murder
LOCATION: 16000 block of Burwood Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Two Unknown Black Male Adults
VICTIM 1: 19-year-old Black Male Adult
vICTIM 2: 20-year-old Black Male Adult
VICTIM 3: 21-year-old Black Male Adult
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at approximately 11:16 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 16000 block of Burwood Road, Victorville.
Preliminary investigation revealed three victims were walking near Mojave Vista Park when they were approached by two unidentified black male adults. The two unidentified suspects fired multiple rounds at the three victims, striking one of them in the face. The victims ran from the location towards Mojave Vista Academy. The suspects chased them on foot before fleeing in an unidentified vehicle.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. This case remains under active investigation by the Victorville Police Department’s Detective Bureau. No arrests have been made at this time, and the motive for the shooting is under investigation.
