On Thursday, September 18, 2025, at approximately 12:01 p.m., Fremont Police Officers responded to the 600 block of Upper Vintners Circle to the report of an altercation. The reporting party advised that two subjects were fighting on the street. Officers arrived on scene and located an unresponsive subject on the ground. The subject appeared to be suffering from a significant stab wound. Officers immediately administered trauma care, however, the subject passed away on scene. The other subject involved in the altercation was arrested at the scene. Fremont Police Department Crimes Against Persons Unit has taken over this investigation. Fremont PD personnel will remain at the scene for the next several hours and we are asking for people to stay out of the area. We plan to provide additional details about this homicide as they become available. There is no immediate threat to the community.
