The Annual "Busted Knuckle Semi Truck Parade" will begin at 6:00 P.M. TONIGHT in Tonkawa. Please expect to observe road closures and traffic congestion around the parade route (details below). Semi Trucks will follow the parade route to and from Wilkins Truck Chrome. The community is invited to watch the trucks anywhere along the parade route. We ask that the public limit any traffic along the parade route as to not cause undue congestion or delay to the trucks as it will cause the parade to last much longer than planned, as a result. Police, Fire, and City Vehicles will be staged along the parade route to stop traffic. Please observe their directions. Emergency vehicles will lead and follow the semi trucks in the parade as well. PARADE ROUTE
Begin at Wilkins Truck Chrome on Fountain Rd. at 6:00 p.m.;
Travel East on Fountain Rd.;
Turn North onto S. Main St. (Tonkawa);
Travel North on S. Main St. (Tonkawa);
Turn East on Grand Ave.;
Travel East on Grand Ave.;
Turn North on Jenkins St.;
Travel North on Jenkins St.;
Take the "Jenkins Y" to travel East on E. North Ave.;
Travel East on E. North Ave.;
Turn North onto (Blackwell) S. Main St.;
Travel North onto (Blackwell) S. Main St.;
Turn West to Merge onto US-60 WB;
Travel West on US-60 WB;
Exit US-60 onto South Ave.;
Travel West on South Ave.;
Turn South on N. Main St. (Tonakwa);
Travel South on N. Main St. (Tonkawa);
Turn West on Fountain Rd.;
Travel West on Fountain Rd. to return to Wilkins Truck Chrome.
AGAIN, EXPECT TRAVEL DELAYS AND ROAD CLOSURES DUE TO THIS PARADE ROUTE.
Parade is expected to take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours.
