Community Message: A Thank You Message from Mayor Tom Giordano 
September 20, 2025 was Thank a Police Officer Day.
It is only fitting that we honor, recognize and thank Waldwick's finest, our Police Officers and our Police Department, for their untiring efforts and dedicated service in protecting and keeping us all safe.
We also say thank you to their families. It takes a special kind of strength and love to support an officer. We see and appreciate the sacrifices you make every day.
Day in and day out our Police Officers provide essential services to our neighborhoods that help us to stay safe.
You are appreciated more than you know! Especially by a proud Mayor who is honored to call all of you, my friend.
Thank you for serving, for doing a job that puts others first, and for being heroes in the community.
