Wilmington Police are requesting the assistance of the public with a September 21 fatal shooting investigation.
On September 21, at approximately 3:18 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 900 block of New Castle Avenue, in reference to a fatal shooting incident. Upon arrival, police located a 36-year-old male gunshot victim – Lamar Massas – who was transported to the hospital in critical condition, and later succumbed to his injuries.
