2 Serious Crashes Injure 3 People 
The South Brunswick Police are investigating two serious crashes that occurred within 16 hours on Sunday afternoon and Monday morning. The first crash was reported at 3:07 pm Sunday on Ridge Road near Docks Corner Road. A bicyclist was struck in a hit-and-run crash. The 51-year-old Edison man was found on the side of the road, bleeding and unaware of what had happened. Monmouth Junction First Aid Squad and paramedics to Robert Wood Johnson University in New Brunswick. The victim suffered several injuries and was in stable condition on Monday. Officers followed several leads, and additional details on the crash will be released on Wednesday.
The second crash was reported on Monday at 7:03 am on Route 130. A Mazda heading northbound on Route 130 drifted across the grass median of the highway and struck a GMC pickup truck traveling southbound. The Monmouth Junction Fire Department responded and extricated the pickup truck driver. Both drivers were taken by South Brunswick EMS and paramedics to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. They are both listed in serious conditions. The Middlesex County Prosecutors Office and South Brunswick Police Traffic Safety Bureau are investigating the crash.
Route 130 south was closed till 12:30 pm
