INCIDENT: PC30305(A)(1) - Felon in Possession of a Illegal Ammunition
LOCATION: 400 block of North K Street Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Marcell Scott, 37 Years Old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, deputies and detectives from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department served a search warrant in the 400 block of North K Street in Needles.
The investigation stemmed from an earlier incident involving the illegal discharge of a firearm in the area of North K Street and Chestnut Street, on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at about 12:19 a.m. During the course of the investigation, deputies interviewed several witnesses and obtained information that led to a search warrant for the residence of Marcell Scott.
During the service of the search warrant, investigators located prohibited ammunition and illegal fireworks. Marcell Scott is a convicted felon and is prohibited by law from possessing ammunition.
Scott was arrested without incident and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Scott remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $30,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
