Flood Advisory until 12:30AM Wednesday

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of East Arkansas, including the following county, Crittenden, North Mississippi, including the following counties, DeSoto and Marshall, and West Tennessee, including the following counties, Fayette and Shelby.

* WHEN...Until 1230 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 923 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bartlett, Southaven, Collierville, Germantown, Olive Branch, West Memphis, Horn Lake, Marion, Cordova, T O Fuller State Park, Memphis, Walls, Edmondson, Horseshoe Lake, Anthonyville, Southeast Memphis, Midtown Memphis, Whitehaven, Southwest Memphis and Downtown Memphis. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
