A storm-force low continues to bring strong, westerly winds as it moves across the Bering Sea through today. Forecast wind speeds and timing: - Southern Alaska Peninsula (including False Pass, Cold Bay, King Cove): From this morning through tonight, westerly winds gusting up to 65 mph. Winds peak late this afternoon and diminish through Thursday morning.
