The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the DC Department of General Services (DGS) would like to inform the community that the playground at Volta Park Recreation Center (1555 34th Street NW) will be closed for surfacing upgrades beginning Thursday, September 25, 2025 and will continue to be offline through late-October, weather permitting.
