Fall Residential Computer & Electronics Recycling Roundup

The Shorewood Hills EMS & Fire Association, in conjunction with the Village’s Services Committee, is pleased to be sponsoring an e-cycle event again this Fall on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Wisconsin’s electronics recycling law bans most electronics from landfills and incinerators because of chemicals and heavy elements used in manufacturing process.

Shorewood Hills residents may dispose of their old computers, monitors, TVs, radios and other home electronics by bringing them to the Public Works building parking lot (1008 Shorewood Blvd.). Computers and most home electronics can be recycled for free. Our recycling partner charges a modest fee to recycle old monitors, TVs, some laptops, copier/fax machines, window AC units and a few other items because of the materials being recycled. We pass that fee along to you (ranging from $5-$60 per item based on size/weight of the item).

Help keep potentially damaging materials out of our landfills by disposing of your old computer, TVs and other electronics on September 28.
