* Until 1015 AM EDT.
* At 813 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the area. Between 3.5 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring in Flatwoods and Russell in KY, and Ironton in OH. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy showers. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Ashland, Ironton, Coal Grove, Naples, Flatwoods, Russell, Raceland, Worthington, Wurtland, Bellefonte, Westwood and Hanging Rock.
