At 752 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southeast of Shelby, or over Grover, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Gastonia, Kings Mountain, Bessemer City, South Gastonia, Blacksburg, Grover, Patterson Springs, Earl, Crowders Mountain State Park, and Kings Mountain State Park.
