COW VERSUS VEHICLE CRASH INJURES DOWAGAIC MAN 
Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on 09/26/2025 at approximately 03:31 A.M hours his Office responded to a personal injury crash in the 70400 block of Calvin Center Road in Mason Township, Cass County Michigan.
The investigation shows that 67-year-old Dowagiac resident, Dale Killarney, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was traveling southbound on Calvin Center Road when his vehicle struck a cow in the roadway. Killarney was unable to exit the vehicle under his own power. Deputies arrived on scene and assisted him out of the vehicle. Killarney went by ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart Indiana for injuries sustained in the crash.
SEPSA assisted the Sheriff's Office at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
