Springfield Ave Closure for Friday 9/26 – Park Ave. to Millburn Ave. 
Plan Ahead: Sections of Springfield Avenue will continue to be closed for roadwork. On Friday, September 26th, Springfield Avenue will be closed from Park Ave. to Millburn Ave. Beginning at approximately 6:00 am, westbound thru-traffic will be detoured along Prospect St. and Park Ave. to Valley St.; eastbound thru-traffic will be detoured along Russel St. (Union Twp) and along various roads to Prospect St. Construction is scheduled for weekdays only.
Springfield Avenue businesses will remain open. Residents can use free public parking in municipal lots at Indiana Street & Springfield Avenue, Hilton Avenue & Prospect Street, Yale Street & Springfield Avenue, and Tuscan Road & Springfield Avenue. Side streets are also available for parking.
On school days, Crossing Guards will continue to cross children on Springfield Avenue at Prospect Street, Burnet Street, and Boyden Avenue.
Due to today’s work cancellation caused by inclement weather, roadwork is now planned to continue on weekdays through Tuesday, September 30th. Closures will be announced daily here on Nixle.
