DEPT OF PUBLIC WORKS – LABORER - Entry Level. The Borough of Stanhope is seeking applicants for the position of Laborer within the Dept. of Public Works. Responsibilities include but not limited to, are operation, maintenance, and repair of water/sewer utilities, road and drainage repairs as well as grass cutting and snow removal operations.  The position is a non-competitive civil service position with a starting salary of $16.82 per hour, health benefits and pension. Overtime may be required. Applicant should be able to perform manual labor under all weather conditions and be able to understand oral and written instruction.
