9/24 - 9:45 p.m. - Police were called to the Dollar General, 601 West Washington Street, for a subject outside the business creating a disturbance after hours. During an investigation of the incident, the female in question was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. The female was arrested and transported to the St. Clair County Jail. The report was forwarded to the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office for consideration of charges. On September 26th the state's attorney's office charged the defendant, Crystal L. Jones, 41 of St. Louis, Missouri, with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance (cocaine); a Class 4 Criminal Felony.
