On Friday, September 26, 2025, at approximately 9:41 PM, deputies from Malibu/Lost Hills Station responded to a traffic collision involving a vehicle vs. pedestrian, which occurred at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Carbon Canyon Road in the city of Malibu.
Based on Preliminary investigation a blue BMW 4 door sedan, driven by a male who was traveling westbound on Pacific Coast Highway in the #1 lane. As the driver approached Carbon Canyon Road, he struck a male pedestrian crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk.
The pedestrian was transported by ambulance to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition .
The investigation is ongoing, and there is no additional information at this time.
