The male victim, 54, was walking his dogs when three suspects approached him from behind. The suspect took his property from his person before fleeing in an older silver sedan. SUSPECTS: Three Black male teens.
2. Weapons Arrest (1430) 100 Block of East Jamestown Street, Valley Oak District
Officers conducted a check out on a vehicle that was illegally parked in the listed area. Officers contacted the driver, searched the car, and located a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Michael Castillo for weapon violations.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1500) 4900 Block of South State Route 99 Frontage, Park District
The male victim, 60, was in the listed area when he was involved in an altercation with the suspect, who swung a sword at him, missed, and then tried to burn him with a torch. The suspect fled before police arrival. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECT: White male adult.
