Join Public Safety officials at CAPS tonight
Residents are reminded that the Hoboken Department of Public Safety will host the next CAPS (Community and Public Safety) Forum at the Multi-Service Center Senior Room, 124 Grand St. tonight.
Presentations, followed by a Q&A session, will begin at 6 p.m.
Routine valve replacement near Newark and Garden Streets; Plan for overnight road closures in the area
Veolia and the Hoboken Water Utility have scheduled the replacement of four water valves at the intersections of Garden and Newark Streets, and Park Avenue and Newark Street. Work will take place during the overnight hours starting at 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, through 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1.
On Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 8 p.m. through 7 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1:
- Newark Street will be closed between Garden Street and Willow Avenue
- Park Avenue will be closed between Observer Highway and First Street
Veolia has notified impacted water customers of possible outages directly.
