Update (Sept. 29) - Powell has been located and is safe.
Original release (Sept. 25):
The Wilmington Police Department is asking the public for assistance in locating a missing person.
Tatayanea Powell is 17 years old and was last seen on September 10, in the 200 block of West 35th Street. Tatayanea is described as a black female, 4’11” tall, approximately 110 lbs., with brown eyes, and black hair.
Police are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tatayanea Powell to please contact Detective Sgt. Ron Mullin at 302-576-3626 or the Wilmington Police Department at 302-654-5151
