Public Notice: Upcoming Gas Main Installation – Mansfield Drive Area
Beginning Monday, October 6, 2025, New Jersey Natural Gas will commence the installation of a new gas main on Mansfield Drive, starting at the municipal complex and continuing toward Lackawanna Drive.
Construction Schedule:
Work will be conducted Monday through Thursday, during overnight hours from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Please anticipate traffic delays in and around the construction zone during these times.
This marks the first phase of the gas main installation in this area and is expected to last a minimum of two weeks. Upon completion, the second phase will begin on Lackawanna Drive at its intersection with Mansfield Drive, extending to connect with the existing main line at U.S. Route 206.
Traffic Advisory:
Motorists traveling in the affected areas are urged to remain alert, exercise caution, and allow extra travel time. When feasible, please consider using alternate routes to avoid potential delays and minimize disruption.
