On September 26th, 2025, deputies with the Moorpark Police Department Traffic Bureau conducted a Driver’s License/DUI checkpoint. The checkpoint was conducted on Princeton Avenue at Condor Drive in the City of Moorpark from 6:00pm until 1:00am.
(S) Cuevas, Roberto was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the combined influence of alcohol and drugs.
(S) Lupoli, Ezra was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs.
One driver was cited and released for driving with a suspended driver’s license.
Six drivers were cited for operating a vehicle while unlicensed. A total of 819 drivers were screened
DUI checkpoint locations are determined based on reported incidents of impaired driving-related crashes. The primary purpose of DUI checkpoints is to promote public safety by taking suspected impaired drivers off roads. Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
