Multiple Suspects Arrested in Separate Retail Thefts:
Over the past few days, officers have responded to multiple reports of retail theft.
On Friday, September 26, 2025, officers contacted Leo Schild (44, Rohnert Park) after a robbery at Target. Schild exited the store with stolen merchandise and pushed an employee who attempted to intervene. He was positively identified by store staff and taken into custody. Schild was also found in possession of suspected methamphetamine and a meth pipe. He was booked into county jail for robbery, shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.
On Sunday, September 28, 2025, officers responded to the Nike store on a report of a theft in progress. Chaz Troy Burnett (44, San Francisco) was observed stealing merchandise valued at $699.95. Burnett attempted to flee from officers and hide the stolen items in nearby bushes before being detained. He was transported to county jail and booked for shoplifting, theft, and resisting arrest.
Later that same day, officers were dispatched to Target for a report of two suspects concealing merchandise. Maria Medina Espinoza (27, Santa Rosa) and Ermes Romero Parrado (26, Santa Rosa) collectively stole approximately $1,354.25 worth of items without any method of payment. Both were arrested for shoplifting and conspiracy.
