1. Strong-Arm Robbery (0730) Julian Street and Anne Street, Park District
Two juvenile victims were walking in the area when three suspects got out of a white sedan and assaulted the victims. The suspects took the victims’ property before fleeing the area in the vehicle. SUSPECT: Three male teens wearing masks.
2. Resisting Arrest (0933) 600 Block of North Center Street, Civic District
Officers responded to the area on a report of a disturbance and contacted the suspect. The suspect started acting erratically and vandalizing an apartment window. When officers detained the suspect, she resisted arrest and took a fighting posture. Officers were able to handcuff the suspect and place her in a patrol unit.
While in the patrol unit, she hit her head against the car windows, so officers placed her in a SAFE wrap device to prevent her from hurting herself. ARRESTED: DeShawn Moore, 43, for vandalism and resisting arrest.
