MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2025:
 
12:31 AM Officer Swadener responded to a disturbance near Spruce St & Wells Ave. A 26-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication and was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
2:49 AM Officer Swadener investigated a commercial burglary reported near Balentine Dr & Stevenson Blvd. Point of entry was gained by shattering the front door.
 
6:57 AM Officer Lor investigated a report of illegal dumping near Central Ave & Filbert St.
 
11:13 AM Officer Lor investigated a commercial burglary reported near Clark Ave & Cherry St.
 
12:02 PM Officer S. Torres responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle near Buena Vista Dr & Cherry St. The vehicle was determined to be stolen and was recovered.
 
2:46 PM Officer S. Torres investigated a vehicle burglary near Thornton Ave & Cedar Blvd. Multiple mail and packages were also reported taken from the area.
 
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2025:
 
9:06 AM Officer Williams responded to a report of a suspicious person near Lido & Cedar Blvd. A 29-year-old female was arrested for possession of narcotics, violating the terms of her probation. She was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
11:00 AM Officer Kim responded to a report of a court order violation near Jarvis Ave & Lido Blvd. A 32-year-old male was located and arrested. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
2:26 PM Officer Williams investigated a vehicle theft reported on Wells Avenue.
 
7:44 PM Officers investigated a mail theft incident reported near Cedar Blvd & Moores Ave.
 
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2025:
 
12:51 AM Officers investigated a vehicle burglary on Newpark Mall Road. Reported loss included tools taken from the storage area of the vehicle.
 
1:04 PM Community Service Officer (CSO) Lau investigated license plate theft reported near Balentine Drive & Newpark Mall Road.
 
2:43 PM Officer Williams conducted a traffic stop near Clark Ave & Cherry St. A 37-year-old male was arrested for outstanding warrants. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
3:37 PM Out of an abundance of caution, officers responded to the Ohlone College - Newark Campus to assist with a security check and evacuations, due to a threat reported in a nearby city.
 
7:24 PM Officer Dale performed a traffic stop on Marshlands Road. A 46-year-old male was cited for use of a false license plate.
 
8:26 PM CSO Mora investigated a window smash vehicle burglary reported near Alphenrose Ct & Newpark Mall Road. Reported loss included a backpack containing electronics.
 
9:27 PM Officer Lara investigated a hit & run collision that occurred near Cherry St & George Ave.
 
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2025:
 
4:37 AM Officer Dale performed a traffic stop on a bicyclist near Newark & Cedar Boulevards. A 40-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics and burglary tools. He was also found to have an active warrant from a neighboring agency. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
3:21 PM Officers responded to a residential burglary in progress reported near Central Ave & Birch St.
 
4:00 PM CSO Mora investigated a shoplifting incident reported on Newpark Mall Road.
 
5:06 PM CSO Mora investigated a stolen vehicle reported near Lido Blvd & Jarvis Ave.

12:02 AM Officer Orozco investigated a report of a stolen vehicle near Baine Ave & Cherry St.
 
7:59 AM Officer Shaffer responded to a residential burglary reported near Magnolia St & Graham Ave.
 
11:26 AM Officer Shaffer conducted a security check on Cedar Court. A 48-year-old female was arrested for an outstanding warrant, possession of narcotics, weapons, and identification not belonging to her. She was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
1:33 PM Officer C. Torres investigated a report of mail theft near Hickory St & Seawind Way.
 
5:43 PM Officer Stevenson investigated a shoplifting incident reported near Thornton Ave & Cedar Blvd.
 
6:45 PM Officer Diaz-Perez responded to a retail theft in progress near Jarvis Ave & Newark Blvd.
 
7:46 PM Officer Soto responded to a residential burglary in progress reported near Stevenson Blvd & Cherry St.
 
11:22 PM CSO Mora investigated a vehicle burglary reported near Cedar Blvd & Mowry Ave. No loss was reported.
 
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2025:
 
2:06 AM Officer Berlanga conducted a traffic stop near Thornton Ave & Chestnut St. A 20-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
9:56 AM Officer Taylor responded to an unreported vehicle theft from the area of Hickory St & Enterprise Dr. that was originally investigated by a nearby agency.
 
12:10 PM Officer C. Torres investigated a package theft reported near Seawind Way & Hickory St.
 
1:13 PM Officer Jackman responded to a vehicle theft reported near Smith Ave & Birch St.
 
4:25 PM CSO Vuong investigated a vehicle burglary reported near Cherry St & Thornton Ave. The vehicle was rummaged through with unknown loss.
 
4:59 PM Officer Jackman responded to a hit & run collision near Thornton Ave & Mayhews Landing Rd. A 20-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence, driving without a license, and fleeing from the scene of a vehicle collision. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
9:00 PM Officers responded to a shoplifting incident in progress reported near Jarvis Avenue & Dumbarton Court. A 35-year-old male was arrested for theft, obstructing arrest, and possession of narcotics, thus violating his probation terms. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
11:20 PM Officer Berlanga investigated a report of vandalism near Cedar Blvd & Joaquin Murieta Ave. A 30-year-old female was cited for an outstanding warrant.
 
11:55 PM Officer Shaffer conducted a pedestrian stop near Cedar & Stevenson Boulevards. A 30-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2025:
 
1:11 AM Officer Stevenson responded to a disturbance near Thornton Ave & Cedar Blvd. A 50-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
12:25 PM Officer Diaz-Perez investigated a residential burglary near Central Ave & Cherry St. Entry was gained through a window.
 
12:40 PM Officer Jackman recovered a stolen vehicle near Saint Mark Ave & Cedar Blvd.
 
8:48 PM CSO Vuong investigated several package thefts reported near Joaquin Murieta Ave & Cherry St.
