Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection with a burglary incident.
On September 28, at approximately 7:30 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 700 block of Concord Avenue, in reference to a burglary incident. Upon arrival, police obtained a description of the suspect. A short time later, police were in the 3600 block of Miller Road, when they observed a male matching the suspect description. Police made contact with 65-year-old Darryl Dunlap, who was taken into custody without incident, and found to be in possession of proceeds from the burglary.
Dunlap has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (First Degree)
- Theft Under $1,500
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $5,500 cash-only bail.
