Traffic Advisory: Utility work scheduled 10/1/2025, Alvarado Rd from Sunland Dr. to 70th St. 
Helix Water District will work to replace an inoperable 10-inch water main gate valve on Alvarado Road, from the intersection of Sunland Drive up to the 70th Street Trolley Station crossing. The work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 7:30 a.m. and is expected to take approximately 18 to 20 hours to complete. Helix Water District states that the work will be completed by Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 7:30 a.m. Helix Water District has confirmed that they will coordinate with MTS regarding any impact to existing transportation routes and schedules.
