A burn ban is now in effect for residents in the Carlinville Fire Protection District response area!
What little rainfall we had in the last week is gone, hot temperatures returning, low humidity, little-to-no rainfall forecasted in the near future and vegetation quickly drying out, the burn ban is back in place!
Everyone's assistance is appreciated on this!
CFPD will evaluate every week until the ban is lifted.
