The 2025 Great California ShakeOut will take place today, October 16th, at 10:16 a.m. This annual statewide earthquake drill aims to educate and motivate everyone to practice earthquake safety and prepare for potential disasters.
The City will join millions of people across the state in the drill. Residents and businesses are encouraged to take this opportunity to practice safer behavior during big earthquakes, review and update their emergency preparedness plans and supplies, and secure their spaces to prevent damage and injuries.
