Activity for October 1, 2025:
- Officer Morse responded to the 1000 block of North Wisner Street for a warrant arrest. A 48-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Richardson was dispatched to the 2000 block of Woodsum Street for an overdose. A 49-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
- Officer Goings responded to the 300 block of South Jackson Street for a warrant arrest. A 30-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Brooker was dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 600 block of Saint Clair Avenue. Domestic assault charges will be sought on a 12-year-old female.
- Officers visited multiple schools during the day.
- Officer Vernier witnessed an assault in the 300 block of Steward Avenue. A 60-year-old male was arrested for felonious assault, and carrying a concealed weapon.
- Officers responded to the 500 block of Third Street for a destruction of property report. The suspect was located in a vehicle at Third Street and West Franklin Street. The 51-year-old male suspect was arrested for driving while intoxicated; driving with a suspended license; and possessing open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. Malicious destruction of property charges will be sought on the male.
- Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of North Elm Avenue for a vehicle that struck a residence. JCYC refused to lodge a 17-year-old male for driving while intoxicated. Charges will be sought on the male subject for driving while intoxicated.
