Stolen Vehicle Recovered After Foot Pursuit 
On 10/2/25, Simi Valley Police Officers were notified via Flock Technology about a stolen vehicle in the area of the 118 Freeway and Sycamore Dr. A few minutes later, another notification on the same vehicle came from the area of the Simi Town Center.
Simi Valley Police Officers responded to the area of the Town Center and were able to locate the stolen vehicle in the Lowe's parking lot with the driver of the vehicle still inside. On contact with the driver, he fled from the vehicle and ran from officers into the Lowe's where he was quickly caught and arrested withour further incident.
The suspect, Brandon Bednarik (35, Simi Valley), was arrested for being in possession of the stolen vehicle, resisting arrest, and being a felon in possession of ammunition.
