New York has issued a statewide Burn Ban in effect until Wednesday, October 15th. Due to a continuing period of dry weather conditions expected statewide in the coming days and an increasing potential for wildfires, there is great concern that wildfires could unexpectedly and rapidly increase, thereby endangering the health, safety, and property of New Yorkers.

This burn ban prohibits the starting of outdoor fires statewide for purposes of brush and debris disposal, for more information, visit: https://on.nyc.gov/4pQVIv5.
