At 715 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southeast of The Hat, or 38 miles north of Owyhee, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust reducing visibility. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Owyhee County.
