Calaveras County Deputy Sheriff Sergeant Leon Hits a Major Milestone
                On October 1, 2025, Calaveras County Deputy Sheriff Sergeant Rudi Leon marked 20 years of dedicated service with the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office. 
Over the last two decades, Sergeant Leon has held numerous key positions within the Sheriff’s Office.   These assignments have included (but are certainly not limited to)  Patrol Deputy, Field Training Officer, Narcotic Detective, Detective, Detective Supervisor, Cold Case Task Force member, Use of Force Instructor, Baton Instructor, Explosive Ordnance Disposal/Hazardous Materials Team member, Crowd Control team member, Search and Rescue team member, Peer Support, and Deputy Sheriff Association President. 
In addition, he has volunteered his time to coach youth sports.   Deputy Leon is also a certified Spanish/English Translator.
                Sergeant Leon is a valued coworker, a trusted mentor, and a dependable supervisor. Please join us in congratulating Sergeant Rudi Leon on his achievement and thanking him for his dedication to Calaveras County.
