Press Release: Pursuit Leading to Arrest of Four Robbery Suspects

On October 3, 2025, at approximately 12:34 p.m., Fremont Police officers responded to a robbery of a pedestrian outside a local bank on the 46000 block of Mission Blvd. The victim provided a description of the suspect vehicle, and our Real-Time Crime Center utilized Automatic License Plate Readers to locate the car and determine its direction of travel. Officers converged on the area and located the vehicle. A traffic stop was initiated; however, the suspect vehicle failed to comply.

Officers initiated a pursuit that traversed from northbound I-880 freeway and into the city of San Leandro. The suspect vehicle eventually came to a stop in San Leandro, and four suspects fled from the car. Our officers quickly apprehended all four suspects without issue, and the victim's property was located inside the suspect vehicle. Additional information later suggested that these suspects were involved in a similar robbery in a nearby City earlier today.

During the pursuit, the suspect vehicle was involved in one non-injury collision on the highway and two non-injury collisions on the San Leandro surface streets.

Fremont Police Department would like to thank the California Highway Patrol, San Leandro Police Department, and the Alameda County Sheriff's Office for offering their assistance during the incident.
