Traffic Stop Arrest 
On 10/02/2025, at approximately 11:00AM, Officer Brewster conducted a traffic stop on Grand Beach Road, near Royal Avenue. During the course of the traffic stop, it was learned that the driver was a non-compliant Sex Offender out of Michigan.
Further investigation revealed that the driver was possibly harboring a missing juvenile female in an unknown location.
The driver was arrested for being a non-compliant sex offender; after being placed under arrest, the driver advised the whereabouts of where he was living. Officer Brewster then contacted Berrien County Dispatch to request the residence be checked for the missing juvenile female.
Due to the persistence of Officer Brewster’s investigation, the juvenile was able to be located and reunited with her family.
The arrested individual was enroute to a job in the Village of Michiana.
