NOTICE: Chewelah Water Line Flushing Ongoing October 6 - October 9 
Notice to City Water Users
The City of Chewelah's Public Works Department is now flushing water lines city-wide this week between Monday, October 6th, and Thursday, October 9th (not including the Airport/Golf Course). Flushing may affect water throughout the city, and residents may encounter low water pressure and/or discolored water due to elevated levels of sediment. Flushing usually takes approximately 15-30 minutes in each area.
If you encounter discolored water during this time, please avoid the use of hot water, ice-makers, dishwashers, and washing machines. For questions or concerns, please call City Hall at 509-935-8311, or the City's Public Works Department at 509-935-8313.
