Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., reports that police have arrested 12 individuals in September 2025 for various criminal incidents, including robberies, aggravated assaults, and illegal weapon possession.
“Our ongoing crime reduction strategy includes removing wanted individuals from our streets,” Director Miranda said. “I am grateful for the commitment of the leaders and detectives of our Criminal Intelligence/Fugitive Section, who precisely located and safely apprehended each suspect. These arrests reflect their hard work and dedication towards keeping Newark safe.”

These charges are merely accusations. Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
