Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Goes Pink for Cancer Awareness and Fundraiser
Starting October 1st, in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our deputies will proudly wear pink patches on their uniforms to demonstrate their support for those impacted by breast cancer. The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office recognizes that nearly every family is touched by cancer at some level over generations, and our agency stands to support all those who fight, survive, and thrive during their battles with cancers of all types.
For 2025, we are backing our words of support with action, and we have teamed up with “Custom Ink”, an online vendor for custom shirts, for a special and limited edition Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office “Together We Fight” Shirt. A portion of the sales will be donated directly to the American Cancer Society.
The amount donated per shirt varies, as there are several styles of shirts available. These shirts have different prices. However, based on the pricing, more than half of the cost of each shirt will be directly donated to the American Cancer Society. This percentage increases based on the number of shirts sold.
The shirts can be shipped to the Calaveras Sheriff’s Office for pick up at no additional cost, or you can choose to have your shirt shipped directly to you for a fee. A minimum of fifty shirts must be sold for this order to be completed, and this limited-edition sales run will close forever on October 31, 2025.
Prices range from $25 to $45, depending on the type of shirt purchased. Yes, this is expensive, but this is a fundraising event. The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office will not receive any proceeds, and the donation will be made directly from Custom Ink to the American Cancer Society. Our primary goal is to raise awareness and generate funds to support their vital work in cancer research, prevention, and patient support. Please help us support this goal by buying a shirt today!

We understand that life can often become busy with a variety of commitments, but it’s a fact that many of us know someone affected by cancer. Starting today and throughout the year, we encourage everyone to reach out and offer support to those who need it. Our community is built on compassion and strength, and together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others-
"Together we fight.” `
