Wilmington Police arrest man in connection with multiple armed robbery incidents:
Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection with multiple armed robbery incidents following an investigation.
On July 15, at approximately 4:46 p.m., and on July 19, at approximately 5:25 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 300 block of East 25th Street, in reference to armed robbery incidents. These cases were assigned to Detective Brendan Wham of the Criminal Investigations Division.
Through the course of his investigation, Detective Wham identified 20-year-old Semaj Lloyd as a suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest. On October 4, members of the Gun Intelligence Unit located Lloyd in the area of East 10th and North Pine Streets, and took him into custody without incident.
Lloyd has been charged with the following offenses:
- Robbery (First Degree) – Two Counts
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited – Two Counts
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony – Two Counts
- Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
