3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2130) 300 Block of South Union Street, Park District
The female victims, 37 and 29, were driving in the listed area when the known suspect intentionally drove his vehicle into their vehicle. When one of the victims got out of their vehicle, the suspect struck her with his vehicle before fleeing the area. Victim #1 was treated at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, while Victim #2
was uninjured. SUSPECT: black male adult.
4. Carjacking Arrest (2237) 100 Block of East March Lane, Lakeview District
The male victim, 42, was dropping off the suspects in the parking lot of an area business when one of the suspects brandished a firearm and stole the victim’s vehicle. Officers located the victim’s vehicle and conducted a traffic enforcement stop on it, arresting one of the suspects and recovering a firearm without incident. ARRESTED: Jason Clark, 38, for carjacking and weapon charges. SUSPECT 2: white female adult.
5. Person Shot (0029) Hazelton Avenue, Seaport District
The male victim, 51, was dropped off at an area hospital and was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim said he had been on Hazelton Avenue at the time of the shooting and could not provide any suspect description.
6. Person Shot (0407) 700 Block of North California Street, Civic District
The male victim, 55, was in the listed area when he was shot by unknown suspect(s). The victim walked to an area hospital where he was treated for a non-life-threatening injury. There is no suspect information.
