The National Weather Service – Mount Holly has issued a Coastal Flood Watch for our area from Sunday morning through Monday evening.
A strong coastal storm may bring moderate to major coastal flooding, damaging winds up to 60 mph, heavy rain, and significant beach erosion.

Prepare now:

• Move vehicles to higher ground, especially on the Bay Side and other low lying areas.

• Secure outdoor furniture, roll up walk-over mats, and other loose items, like trash cans and grill covers.

• Move items off ground level in homes and garages

• Avoid driving through flooded streets, utilize Atlantic Avenue and Beach Avenue.  Watch for Bay Ave/Long Beach Blvd. road closures.

• Monitor updates from Beach Haven OEM and NWS Mount Holly

Stay alert for forecast changes and possible warnings as the storm approaches.
